International Legal Frameworks for Humanitarian Action. This test is designed to help you prepare for the PHAP Credentialing Program certification in this area. Upon completing the Diagnostic Test, you will be able to download a customized report detailing your performance in each of the four domains of the certification body of knowledge. A copy of your report will also be sent to your email address.
Please note that the questions in the diagnostic test are just examples of the
types of questions that can appear in the official certification assessment. The questions in the official certification assessment use a separate set of items and may cover other specific topics part of the
certification competency framework.

It is recommended to take this diagnostic test in an environment that simulates that of the invigilated/proctored official certification assessment.
- This diagnostic test consists of 50 questions, which you have 75 minutes to complete (the official certification has 60 questions and allows 90 minutes).
- Try to find a private, calm environment where you will not be disturbed for the duration of the test.
- Do not look up answers to the questions or ask others for help during the test. In the official certification assessment, the online proctor (invigilator) will be monitoring to ensure that you do not have access to any unauthorized resources or assistance.
- The questions on both this diagnostic test and the official certification assessment have been carefully designed so that the incorrect answer options may sound plausible but there is only one best answer. For each question, select the best answer option available, to the best of your understanding.
- In order to benefit from the full functionality of the diagnostic test, we recommend that you do not use Internet Explorer but instead Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari or another modern browser.
By taking this diagnostic test, you agree that you will not keep copies, in any form, and will not disclose the questions or any information related to the questions to anyone other than PHAP personnel. This is in order to ensure the continued usefulness of the diagnostic test as a resource for others.
